reflection

The class Lab Museum Design and Interpretation proved to be a valuable learning experience for me. From the class I gained a little more confidence with dealing with technology. When a class is so heavily focused on technology, then I think students tend to be isolationists.

some more thoughts...

I was just looking at our website, and it looks pretty good. Not sure
about the mission statement. Not sure also about the picture for the
archaeology on the homepage. I like the picture that the archaeology group
picked better. There are a couple things that I would change inside the
individual sections, but maybe it is too late.

I have thought about our mission statement, here is a feeble attempt:

clarification

Hope that you aren't sick of me!

I don't understand "Life at Enchanted Castle" in the wiki article "Enchated Castle." First Trillian mentions Spotswood's wife name. Then she brings up the point that he married a German woman. Maybe it is just me, but I think that needs clarification.

just a thought

I was looking at our homepage, and reading the quote. I think that we need to include something about Alexander Spotswood and the Enchanted Castle and the Knights of the Golden Horseshoe on the homepage. What can we put? What images?

ideas for Germanna's homepage

Here is a link to Kenmore/Ferry Farm homepage. Maybe we can think about each group having their own homepage, just tie the three together with one homepage. That is what George Washington Fredericksburg Foundation did. Just a thought, don't shoot me!

Exciting News!

I was doing some reading at Kenmore. I read that Alexander Spotswood married a Washington. Come talk to me for more information and the source. I don't know if we want to include this information on our site.

To Group A and Kati!

Dear group, I am sorry that I haven't gotten to editing my WIKI. I will get to it soon. I have a project due tommorow for HISP 305.

You are doing a great job Kati! I can tell that you are working hard.

You too, Trillian and Nathen, keep up the good work!

See you in class!

Where is the video on Sanford?

Dr. Groom, you said that you would post Sanford's video up on the web. Have you? Have you forgotten? Where is it? I am meeting my group in about an hour to discuss our interview with Dr. Douglas Sanford, Ph.D. See y'all in class!
