Lab Museum Design & Interpretation

I have thought about our mission statement, here is a feeble attempt:

Germanna is located in Orange County, VA. This website is intended to serve as an educational resource about Germanna. The UMW HISP 463 class hopes to create a lively dialogue about this interesting and mythical place. We have gone through a timeline of Virginia’s frontier, and explored Alexander Spotswood as a man and myth. We also discuss about archaeology of the “Enchanted Castle” with images of artifacts. In addition we have recounted and traced the trail of the “knights of the Golden Horseshoe.” Interested? Come and be pioneers! Make sure to leave comments please, because this is on going research!
